I spent one year, March 4 1968 to March 3 1969, in RVN, primarily in I Corps.  I was assigned to C&C, and it seems I spent the whole year as "the new guy".   I was assigned to FOB 1 at Phu Bai, FOB 3 at Khe Sahn, back to FOB 1, up to the Mai Loc Launch site, three months on Hill 950 (Hickory or Lemon Tree, depending), on loan to CCS, the Quang Tri Launch site, and finally a month at CCC prior to coming home.  I participated, one way or another, in the closing of four of the seven sites;  FOB 3, Lemon Tree, the Quang Tri launch stie, and FOB 1.

Like many others I took a lot of pictures. And, like many others I suspect, I don't have a lot of them left.  These are some of the ones that might be of interest to others.  Memory dims, and any additional information about persons and locations will be added if supplied and reasonable.
