Quang Tri launch site was located between the Force Recon Camp and the Ammo dump.   Operations tent, sleeping tent, a jeep, a duce and a half, and a couple of conexes.

This is NOT the launch site "across from the Quang Tri Airfield" mentioned in some books.  One day I was supposed to drive to the airfield to pick up the CO.   I never made it.  About a mile or so down the road I managed to roll the jeep into a minefield.

VNAF Kingbees. My best guess is that they are getting ready to return to FOB 1 at Phu Bai.

If that jeep looks a little broken down it's because more than once I loaded one pallet of ammo on the hood and another across the rear wheel wells.
