Changing Your Address (as it appears on you sent e-mail).Note: All CWO Internet Accounts have been provided with a user selected e-mail address. If you would like to change your address or have forgotten the one you selected, please contact technical support. 1. Click on the "Tools" pull-down menu, select "Accounts", and then click on the "Mail" tab. 2. Highlight the account representing your CWO e-mail account and click on the "Properties" button. Note: If you do not see the an account representing your CWO account, please give us a call! 3. Under the general tab, make sure the "Email Address" and "Reply Address" fields contain the e-mail address provided to you by CWO. E-mail Address: It appears on every outgoing e-mail messages (and submitted news articles) Reply Address: This address will be used for people who are trying to return your e-mail. If this field leaves blank, the E-mail Address information will be used instead. Changing Your Personal Name (as it appears on you sent e-mail).1. Click on the "Tools" pull-down menu, select "Accounts", and then click on the "Mail" tab. 2. Highlight the account representing your CWO e-mail account and click on the "Properties" button. Under the "General" tab, make sure "Your Name" contains the name you want to appear on your sent messages. Changing Your Server Information1. Click on the "Tools" pull-down menu, select "Accounts", and then click on the "Mail" tab. 2. Highlight the account representing your CWO e-mail account and click on the "Properties" button. Note: If you do not see the an account representing your CWO account, please give us a call! 3. Under the "Servers" tab, make sure the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP):" text box reads: <your server name>, where <your server name> is the server specified on your account information sheet (e.g. mail.CWO.com). 4. Under the "Servers" tab, make sure the "Incoming Mail (POP3):" text box reads: <your server name>, where <your server name> is the server specified on your account information sheet (e.g. mail.CWO.com). 5. Click OK all the way back to Outlook Express. 6. Check your mail as usual. You may encounter an error message requiring you to re-enter your password, this is normal. Simply re-enter your password and click OK. Changing Your E-mail Login InformationNote: All CWO Internet accounts have been provided with a unique user name and password. If you would like to change your user name or password, or have forgotten the one you selected, please contact technical support.1. Click on the "Tools" pull-down menu, select "Accounts", and then click on the "Mail" tab. 2. Highlight the account representing your CWO e-mail account and click on the "Properties" button. Note: If you do not see the an account representing your CWO account, please give us a call! 3. Under the "Servers" tab make sure the "Logon using" is marked. Select CWO (or any names that is corresponded to your Internet setup) 4. Make sure the "Account Name" matches the user name on your account information sheet. 5. Make sure the "Password" contains the password on your account information sheet (the password box will only show asterisks, you may need to re-type your password if you feel it is incorrect). 6. Click OK. 7. Check your mail as usual. You may encounter an error message requiring you to re-enter your password, this is normal. Simply re-enter your password and click OK. Note: If you still cannot successfully check you e-mail you may be using an incorrect user name or password. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive, check their case and try again. If you still have trouble, please contact technical support. |
